We’re big Mind Spiders fans here at MM, and frankly they seem one of the most underrated bands out there. Evolving from lo-fi garage punk beginnings to a mix of post-punk and art-rock that recalls Devo, Talking Heads and Bowie, they consistently deliver with a raison d’être that is built around delivering music that is relentlessly aggressive, melodic and downright catchy.

They have announced a new album Furies, which will see the light of day on the 26th January via Dirtnap Records. The first taste from it is the propulsively brittle and furious Outside – as you’d might expect it is incessant, urgent and brilliant.
