London based country-infused rock quintet Sleep Eaters will unveil their debut EP Holy Days next week, on 9th August, via Stockholm’s PNKSLM Recordings.
With their country-infused take on garage rock, we’ve been looking forward to this one a lot – we’ve already shared a couple of tracks from it and now we have the psych-tinged darkness of Life of Sin to brighten up your Friday. It kicks off with a country tinged guitar line and benefits from the use of organic instrumentation – including a lap steel – and dueling guitars which shimmer above a propulsive shuffle, which doesn’t then let up over its full 2:41 duration.
Enjoy.
