Jessica Lea Mayfield captured our attention with her brilliant, sultry 2008 debut With Blasphemy So Heartfelt (from which Kiss Me Again remains a playlist regular) and then captured our hearts with a fabulous solo set at the End of the Road Festival a couple of years later. She released the excellent Tell Me in 2011 and last year delivered one of the covers of the year with her version of Alabama’s I’m In A Hurry (And Don’t Know Why).

Possessed with the voice of an angel, her new ten-song album Make My Head Sing will be released on the 15th April. The first taste comes in the shape of the searing Oblivious – incendiary electric guitar, howling blues distortion, brutal percussion and all offset by those incredible country tinged vocals.

Just awesome!
