Following a few rough years of touring, relationships beginning and ending, and writer’s block, Mikal Cronin decided to make a change. He packed up and retreated to Idyllwild, a small town in the mountains of southern California, where he spent a month in the cabin, alone. The solitude proved fruitful, with the bulk of forthcoming long player Seeker being written and demoed during this time period.
After a series of fires sparked by an arsonist forced him to evacuate immediately, he returned a few days early to LA and began the recording process using Ty Segall’s Freedom Band.
Seeker will be out on the 25th October and Show Me is the first taste from him. Check it out below, together with some UK dates for early next year.
