Public Body are a new find for us, and yet another band off the seemingly endless Brighton production line. New single, the excellently named, Naughty On My Bike, is a stinging burst of wiry post-punk that takes aim at failing public services.

There is lots to like about the track, which summons up influences from Gang of Four to the more contemporary Traams, but Public Body have enough identity and confidence of their own to stick their own stake firmly in the ground. A mix of needling, sparse guitars adds to the tenseness of the track, and contrasts with a nice line in observational black humour.
