Discovered these two tracks via Soundcloud last night and liked them a lot.

Ohmme are a Chicago based duo and have a new record Fantasize Your Ghost, coming out on the 5th June via Joyful Noise Recordings.

 3 2 4 3 was the lead single from it with it’s brilliant opening, “Looked in the mirror the other day / Caught my reflection / My mouth had moved a different way / The muscles were straining“, and has been out a little while, and Ghost is the latest, a similarly sharp lyrical foray into the world of male machismo. Both are unconventionally catchy, twitching with nervous energy and a sense of purpose that drives them forward with the type of rare, clear-eyed distinction that sets them apart from the pack.
